Lita Came & Brought Some Sunshine!

We were so spoiled with our week-long visit with Lita! She helped us get our garden in shape and both kids got to spend some special time alone with her. She even got to witness our first week of craziness with Cooper crib-free. Never a dull moment in this house!

Soaking up the Sun

We strolled down the block on our first warm day of the season and stumbled upon a public garden just a block away. The kids loved the lush grass and paved trails to pull the wagon around.
We also started planting our garden for the season. Cooper is fascinated with our gnome, aka "Santa" who lives among the strawberries. He loves to tromp around the garden beds and roll his Tonka trucks over the mounds of dirt.

Seedy Situation

Ah, Summer is just around the corner. Coop is obsessed with watermelons at the moment. I think he could eat an entire one to himself. Here he sits on the porch, pants off with seeds on his cheek. Bliss...
